Rugby Kit Manufacturer, UK

Rugby Kit For UK Clubs — Union Or League, Built For Contact.

Rugby union and rugby league have been two separate codes with two separate governing bodies since the sport split in 1895 — different player numbers, different rules, different heartlands. What doesn't change between them is what a kit has to survive: repeated contact, grabbing and tackling over a full 80-minute match. We build every rugby order around that, whichever code your club plays.

Rugby Union

15 players a side, governed in England by the RFU, with club rugby typically numbered 1–15. The larger of the two codes by participation across the UK, with a grassroots season that generally runs September to April, including age-grade mini and youth sections alongside the senior XV.

Rugby League

13 players a side, governed by the RFL, historically strongest in the north of England. Squad numbering conventions and rotation patterns differ from union, which is worth telling us at quote stage so numbering on the shirt matches your league's convention.

Built For Contact, Not Adapted From Teamwear

Reinforced Seams & Grip-Tested Fabric As Standard.

Rugby is the one category where we don't start from a general teamwear spec. A normal seam is the first thing to fail under repeated grabbing, so match jerseys use reinforced stitching and a heavier, grip-tested weave built to hold shape rather than stretch out under contact.

Match Jerseys

Reinforced-seam jerseys sublimated to your club colours and sponsor branding.

Training Kits

Training tops and bibs for full-contact and non-contact sessions across the week.

Contact-Grade Base Layers

Compression base layers built for contact-sport wear under a jersey.

Questions From UK Clubs

Common Questions.

Do you produce for both rugby union and rugby league clubs?

Yes — the underlying construction (reinforced seams, grip-tested fabric) is the same conversation for both codes. Squad numbering convention is the main thing that differs, and we'll set that from your spec.

Is rugby kit really built differently from a standard teamwear jersey?

Yes — it's a genuinely different construction, not the same jersey with tougher marketing. Reinforced seams and a heavier, grip-tested weave are standard on every rugby order, not an optional upgrade.

Can you kit out our mini, youth and senior sections together?

Yes — many UK clubs order for age-grade mini and youth sections alongside the senior XV in one enquiry, sized and packed per player against each squad's roster.

What's the minimum order for a club?

There's no minimum on samples, so you can test fabric and fit before committing. Bulk orders start at 20 pieces per style — enough for most club squads.

How long from order to delivery?

Sampling typically takes about ~10 days once your spec is confirmed. Bulk production runs about ~18 days after sample approval, shipped by air or sea depending on your season's timeline.
