What To Know Before You Order.
Fabric
Compression pieces are built in a four-way stretch, moisture-wicking blend so the fabric moves with the body and pulls sweat away rather than holding it. Training tops usually move to a lighter, breathable poly with mesh ventilation panels at the back and underarms. Exact weight and stretch percentage are set from your spec — we don't sell off one fixed compression fabric.
Construction
Flatlock stitching is standard on compression garments — the seam sits flat against the skin instead of raised, which matters more here than on looser fits since compression wear sits directly against the body for the full session. Training tops use mesh insert panels stitched in at the back and underarms for airflow without cutting into the main body fabric.
Decoration Methods
Sublimation for full-pattern compression prints and gradient designs, since it prints into the fabric without adding texture that would irritate the skin under compression. Screen print or embroidery for a simpler logo-only placement on a plain colourway.
Sizing & Sampling
Full adult size range as standard. Compression fit is unforgiving if it's wrong, so we build every gym-wear design as a sample first — zero MOQ on samples — before any bulk commitment.
MOQ & Lead Times
20 pieces bulk MOQ per style, zero MOQ on samples, roughly 8–10 days for a sample and ~18 days for bulk once approved — see our cost guide for how fabric choice here affects price.
What Gym & Fitness Brands Usually Order
This category tends to attract newer fitness brands testing a first drop as much as established gyms ordering staff or member merchandise — the zero-MOQ sample process works the same for either. Over 4 years and 88+ brands, the gym-wear orders that scaled fastest were consistently the ones where the buyer sampled two or three fabric weights side by side before picking one for bulk, rather than guessing from a swatch alone.
Private Label Gym Wear
A large share of the gym-wear brands we've worked with start as private label — choosing from a design we've already developed and applying their own branding, rather than building a design from zero. That's the fastest route to a first drop if you don't yet have your own tech pack. See our Private Label page for how that compares to a fully custom OEM or ODM order.
Dedicated Compression Wear Range
If compression is the whole order — not just one item alongside training tops — see our dedicated Compression Wear page for arm and calf sleeves, full leggings, and team base layers built to sit under a jersey.
