Sports Uniforms That Survive A School Year.
PE kits, house shirts, inter-school team strips and staff wear, made to your colours and crest in our own Sialkot factory. Start with a single sample, size it on real students, then order from 20 pieces per design.
True Fit Sportswear manufactures custom sports uniforms for schools and colleges: daily PE kit, house and sports-day tees, match strips for inter-school teams, hoodies and tracksuit layers, and coaches’ wear. Designs are built in your school colours with crest and numbers, in youth and adult sizes. Bulk orders start at 20 pieces per design, samples have no minimum, and payment is by bank transfer or Wise against an official invoice. We do not claim any child-safety or textile certification, so any requirement your school has is written into the order specification and checked on a sample.
A School Does Not Buy “A Uniform”.
Schools tend to ask for one quote for everything. In practice there are four separate purchases, each with its own priorities, and separating them makes the quote clearer and cheaper to decide on.
Everyday PE kit
Worn by every pupil, washed weekly, outgrown yearly. Priority: durable, comfortable fabric and a size run that covers the whole age range. Decoration should be light, usually a single-colour crest or logo. This is the largest quantity, so it is the one worth sampling most carefully. See t-shirts and sweatshirts.
Inter-school team kit
Worn by the squad that represents the school: full-colour design, numbers, sometimes a sponsor. Priority: a design that looks right on the pitch and a roster that is correct before cutting. Smaller quantity, more design care. See teamwear, football and cricket kits.
House and sports-day wear
Four or five colours of the same simple tee, worn once or twice a year. Priority: clear colour separation between houses and a fast reorder if numbers change. Ask how your quantities per colour will count against the minimum before you split the order.
Get The Size Spread Right Before You Order.
The biggest avoidable cost in a school order is a wrong size run. A class of eleven-year-olds does not divide neatly into small, medium and large, and children are measured in ages, heights or chest sizes depending on the country. A few habits keep this under control:
- Measure a sample of real pupils, not a chart in isolation. Choose five or six children of different builds in each age band, record chest and height, and compare against the size guide and our measurement guide.
- Order a sample set in the middle sizes and hold a fitting session. Zero MOQ on samples means a handful of pieces is a realistic test, not an expensive one.
- Decide how you collect sizes. Order forms sent home need a deadline and one person who chases them. A total that is only an estimate should be flagged as such when you request the quote.
- Plan for growth, not just today. Many families prefer a slightly roomier fit for a garment that must last the year. Say so in the specification instead of asking for adult sizes to be handed down.
- Keep students and staff on separate lines of the order so adult sizing does not distort the junior count.
Details Schools Care About.
The crest
An official crest often has fine lines and small lettering. Embroidery suits thicker fabrics and a smaller badge; printing suits stretch fabrics and larger artwork. The decoration methods guide compares them, and we confirm size and position on a mock-up first.
School colours
Navy to one printer is a different navy to another. Give us a Pantone reference (what that means) or an existing garment to match, and approve the colour on the sample in daylight.
Student privacy
Rosters hold children’s names. Send only what the order needs, prefer initials or numbers for younger pupils if the school wishes, and keep one master copy so every change is tracked.
Design restrictions
If your school bars drawstrings, hoods, zips or certain colours, state it in the first message. We build to the specification you write; where a requirement matters, check it on the sample rather than relying on a general statement.
Packing for distribution
Orders are packed against your roster or size breakdown, which makes handing out kit by class, house or team far quicker than sorting a box of mixed sizes. Tell us how you want it grouped.
Wash and wear
School kit is washed in bulk at home. Before approving a large run, wash your sample several times at the temperature parents will actually use and see how colour, print and seams behave.
A Calendar For A Kit Order.
Dates differ by country and school, so this is a sequence rather than a schedule. Use it to see which decisions need to happen earliest.
Decide the scope
List which of the four jobs you are buying this year. Remove anything you can reorder later; a smaller first order is easier to approve.
Collect the files
Crest in a high-quality file, colour references, any sponsor or partner logos, and a first draft of the sizes. This is the stage that usually slips.
Sample and fitting
Order a sample (typically 8–10 days), hold a fitting with pupils and PE staff, and note every adjustment in writing.
Sign-off and payment
Principal, bursar and PE lead each see what they need: the quotation, the invoice and the mock-up. Payment goes by bank transfer or Wise against the invoice.
Production and delivery
Bulk typically takes ~18 days after approval, then shipping to your destination. Follow progress on the private tracking page with photos.
Documents And Checks You Can Put On File.
- A written quotation per order. We do not publish a price list; fabric, decoration, quantity and construction each change the figure, so the quote is written for your exact specification.
- An official invoice with a TF# number, paid by bank transfer or Wise. Payment details only come from us on the invoice, and there are no card payments. Read how to pay a clothing manufacturer safely before you send any money to any supplier.
- A registered supplier. True Fit Sportswear (Private) Limited is registered with the SECP (CUIN 0362653). The company registration and verification pages show what you can check yourself.
- Visibility of the work. A private tracking page shows progress photos and the approvals you give; you can see a real one on the demo order.
- A final check before it ships. Our quality control process ends with a pre-shipment video and photos for your sign-off, and an outside inspector is welcome.
Questions From Schools.
Can you make both youth and adult sizes in one order?
Yes. A school squad usually spans several age groups, and sizes are chosen per player from the roster you send. The 20-piece bulk minimum is counted per design rather than per size, so one design can be split across many sizes. Our youth vs adult sizing and MOQ guide works through a real mixed squad, and the size guide has the charts.
Do you supply a school crest or house badge?
We can put a crest on a garment by embroidery or by print, depending on the fabric and the look you want. Send the crest as a vector file or the best-quality original you have, and say how wide it should be and where it sits. We show a mock-up with size and placement for approval before anything is cut or decorated.
Our school pays by purchase order. Is that possible?
We work from a written quotation that becomes an official invoice with a TF# number, paid by bank transfer or Wise. We do not take card payments. If your finance office needs specific wording or details on the quotation or invoice, tell us when you request the quote so it is set up correctly from the start.
How early should we order before the new term or sports day?
Work back from the date the kit must be in school. Allow for shipping to your country, bulk production (typically ~18 days once approved), the sample (8–10 days) and the time your own staff need to approve colours, crest and sizes. The approval steps are normally the longest part, because several people have to agree.
Can we put student names on the kits?
Yes, if you send them on the roster, but you do not have to. Many schools prefer numbers or initials, especially for younger pupils, so that full names are not circulated or worn in public. Decide this at the start and keep one master copy of the roster so changes are controlled.
Is the fabric suitable for children?
We do not claim any child-safety or textile certification on this website, so please do not treat the answer as one. What we can do is build to your specification: soft, breathable fabric, flatlock seams where the style allows, no hood cords or any other feature your school policy excludes. Tell us your requirements in the first message and test them on a zero-MOQ sample.
Can we reorder for next year’s intake in exactly the same design?
Yes. Keep the approved artwork, the colour references and the order number of the first run, and quote them when you reorder. Dye lots can differ slightly between batches, so ask us how to keep colours consistent if old and new kit will be worn side by side. How to reorder custom sportswear explains the process.
