For Founders

Launching A Sportswear Label? Start Small, On Purpose.

The first order decides whether a brand survives its first year. We built our terms for founders: samples from one piece, bulk from 20 per design, and a factory that answers your questions directly.

The short answer for founders

A first-time sportswear brand can work with True Fit Sportswear in four steps: send a reference, sample one piece at zero MOQ, approve it in writing, then place a first bulk order from 20 pieces per design under your own label (private label, OEM or ODM). We have served 88+ brands since 2022, produce in our own Sialkot facility, give every order a live tracking page, and take payment by bank transfer or Wise against an official invoice. We do not publish a price list; each order is quoted for its exact specification.

The Founder’s Path

Five Stages, In The Order That Protects Your Money.

Each stage is smaller and cheaper than the one after it, and each answers one question. Skipping ahead means paying for the answer later, at a higher price.

Stage 01

Is the idea clear?

Collect two or three reference garments, write down who the product is for and decide the one fabric feel and fit you are chasing. This costs nothing and prevents three rounds of vague revisions.

Stage 02

Can a factory read it?

Turn the references into a tech pack: flats, measurements, fabric, colours, decoration. Use our free template, or ask us to develop it under ODM. Read how to create a tech pack.

Stage 03

Does the product work?

Order a sample (typically 8–10 days). Wear it, wash it, photograph it, show it to ten people who are not your friends. Change the spec, not just the opinion.

Stage 04

Will anyone buy it?

A first bulk run of 20 pieces is a market test as much as inventory. Pre-sell, take waiting-list sign-ups or sell to your own audience before you expand.

Stage 05

Can you repeat it?

Keep every approved file and size breakdown so a reorder is fast and identical. See how to reorder.

Before You Contact Any Factory

Seven Things To Have Ready.

  • One clear reference per style. A photo of the cut you want, with annotations for what you would change.
  • Your logo as a vector file and, if you have them, brand colours as Pantone references. See the glossary if that term is new.
  • A fabric direction. You do not need to know fibre blends; you need a feel, a weight range and a stretch level. The GSM chart and fabric guide help you describe it.
  • An estimated size breakdown. It can be a guess, as long as it is labelled as one. Use the size guide and measurement guide.
  • Where it is being delivered. Shipping method and import rules depend on the country, and duties are the importer’s responsibility, as set out in the shipping policy. Read shipping sportswear from Pakistan.
  • A decision-maker. One person who can say yes to a sample, an invoice and a bulk run.
  • A realistic date, counted backwards: sample, revisions, bulk (typically ~18 days), shipping, and your own approvals.
Straight Talk

Where First-Time Brands Lose Money.

Too many designs in the first order

Every design carries its own 20-piece minimum. Three designs is a bigger commitment than it sounds; one well-tested design usually teaches more. The MOQ guide explains how per-style minimums stack.

Skipping the sample because it feels slow

The sample is the cheapest insurance you will ever buy. Approving a bulk run based on a render or someone else’s product photo is how brands end up holding garments that do not fit the way they imagined.

Buying on price alone

Comparing quotes only works when they describe the same fabric, decoration and quantity. Send us the specification from another quote and we will say where ours lands and why. Our manufacturer checklist shows what to compare.

Paying a stranger on trust

Check the company, ask for a written quotation and an official invoice, and never pay to an account that appears only in a chat message. Read how to pay a manufacturer safely.

Being a smaller factory has trade-offs: we are not the right choice for very large commodity runs, and every order is made to order rather than shipped from stock. We would rather say that now. For a brand testing a first range, it usually works in your favour.

FAQ

Questions From Founders.

I have an idea but no tech pack. Can I still start?

Yes. A photo of a garment you like, a sketch or even a clear description is enough to begin a sample. If you want us to turn the idea into a technical drawing and specification, that is the ODM route described on our private label page. Our free tech pack template helps if you would rather prepare it yourself.

What is the smallest first order I can place?

A sample has no minimum, so one piece is possible. Bulk production starts at 20 pieces per design, counted per style rather than per size, so one design can be spread across a size run. The sensible first bulk order is usually one or two designs you have already sampled, not a full collection.

How much will my first collection cost?

We do not publish a price list or per-piece prices, because fabric, construction, decoration and quantity each change the figure. Every quote is written for your exact specification, and the sample lets you check the product before you commit to a quantity. Our manufacturing cost guide explains what drives a quote so you can budget with the right questions.

Who owns the design and the tech pack?

You do. Artwork, logos and tech packs developed for your order, whether you brought them or we helped build them, remain your property and are not reused for another customer without your permission.

Can I start with private label and move to my own designs later?

Yes, and many brands do. Launching on an existing style gets you to a first sale quickly. Once you know what customers want, you can document your own fit and details and move to OEM or ODM. The minimums are the same across all three routes.

How long from first message to products in my hands?

A sample typically takes 8–10 days and bulk typically ~18 days once the sample and artwork are approved, with shipping added. Your own approval time and any sample revisions come on top, so build in slack. The production timeline guide shows how the stages fit.

How do I know you are a real factory and not a reseller?

Check the SECP record (CUIN 0362653), compare the address with the map and factory tour, open the live demo order, and order a sample before anything bigger. The verification page lists each step, and the verification guide explains how to do the same for any Pakistani supplier.
