Custom Field Hockey Uniforms, Cut For A Low Stance.
Sublimated field hockey shirts, skirts, skorts and shorts for clubs and schools, plus a loose goalkeeper smock. Hockey is played bent over, which changes how the shirt, skirt and waistband must be cut.
What We Make.
Sublimated Hockey Shirts
Short- or long-sleeve shirts with a longer back, in club colours and crests.
Pleated & Panelled Skirts
Sublimated skirts in school or club patterns, with an inner short.
Skorts
A skirt front with built-in shorts, sewn so the inner layer does not twist.
Hockey Shorts
Light, hard-wearing shorts for outfield players, with a drawcord waist.
Goalkeeper Smocks
Loose, long-sleeve smock in a contrasting colour. Protective pads and helmets are not part of what we make.
What To Know Before You Order.
Shirt Length & Sleeves
A hockey player spends the match with the torso tilted forward, so a short shirt rides up the back and exposes the waistband. We lengthen the back hem and set the sleeve opening so there is room for a shoulder swing without lifting the body. Long sleeves are an option for cold fixtures, though we recommend they stay lightweight.
Skirt, Skort & Short Details
The inner short on a skirt is the part players notice most. A flat, soft waistband, flatlock leg seams and an inner layer that is not too tight make for fewer complaints. Pocket needs for mouthguard or whistle should be raised at the start, because a pocket changes the waist construction.
Colour, Numbers & Crests
Team numbers on the front, back and often on the skirt need to be readable from the sideline at a distance. Pick one number colour with strong contrast against both the home and away strip. Crests and sponsor logos are sublimated, so keep high-detail marks away from seam lines where the print can break up.
Planning A Club Order
Term dates and tournaments set the deadline, so count back from your first fixture. A sample (no minimum) needs about 8–10 days, and a bulk run at 20 pieces per design needs about ~18 days after sign-off. See our broader teamwear range for warm-up tops, and use the process page to understand each step. Your order has a private tracking page with photos.
Common Questions.
Do you make goalkeeper protective gear?
No. Our goalkeeper range covers the smock and any matching shorts or tops. Pads, helmets, kickers and gloves come from specialist makers, and we do not describe our garments as protective equipment.
How do you stop a skirt riding up on the pitch?
By cutting the skirt with an inner short that stays put, setting the waistband width to suit the hip and checking length with a player in a low stance. Skort fronts need the inner layer sewn at the waist and sides so it does not shift. We sample the length before bulk.
Can the school or club pattern be printed on a skirt?
Yes. Sublimation lets us carry stripes, checks, gradients and logos across the skirt panels. Pleats are formed after printing, so artwork needs to be laid out with pleat folds in mind. We guide you on that when we receive your design.
Can we supply a mix of girls' and women's sizes?
Yes. Youth and adult cuts differ in length and chest, so give us your size range and a few body measurements. Our size guide shows the charts, and a mixed roster may need two patterns.
How long does a sample and bulk order take?
Expect about 8–10 days for a first sample after the artwork is agreed, and no minimum quantity on it. Bulk from 20 pieces per design usually runs roughly ~18 days after approval.
