What To Know Before You Order.
Sublimated Or Knitted?
Pick sublimation if your team design has gradients, stripes with fine edges or a pattern across the whole leg. Pick a knit if you want a logo that stays sharp for many washes and a sock that feels thicker underfoot. A hybrid is possible: knitted body with a printed cuff. We explain the limits at the quote stage so you are not surprised by the sample.
Fit, Stretch & Cuff
A sock is measured relaxed but worn stretched, so artwork that looks right flat can distort on a calf. A knee-high sock needs a cuff that holds the leg without a tight line, and shin-guard wearers need leg length that clears the guard. We recommend putting a sample on a real leg before approving the print.
Branding Placement
Prints on the ankle and calf are most visible; text on the sole or toe is not worth printing. Check how artwork wraps round the leg, because a straight front-facing logo can spread across the tube. Woven or knitted cuff text works best when it is short, and long team names should go on the shin side.

Once you approve it, we confirm the bulk quantity and timing for your exact style, which for our general bulk work is about ~18 days. Common Questions.
Is the 20-piece minimum the same for socks?
Socks are quoted per spec, because a knitted sock needs a machine set-up and a sublimated one has different print runs. The sample route is open to you with no minimum, and the bulk quantity is confirmed with us for your style before anything is committed. Please state the style you want when you enquire.
Should I choose printed or knitted artwork?
A sublimated sock carries any artwork in full colour but is polyester, and the print can show white where the fabric stretches over the leg. A knitted design is built into the yarn and survives wear well, but is limited by colour count and detail. We advise on which suits your artwork.
Can socks have a grip pattern?
Yes, on request and specified by you: a grip pattern applied to the sole of the sock. Tell us the pattern type, where it sits and how much of the sole it covers, so it can be sampled and checked for fit.
How do you size socks?
Socks are cut or knitted in size bands rather than exact sizes, for example youth, small, medium and large. Send the shoe-size range of your players and we suggest the bands. See our size guide and the wider accessories category.
How long does a sock sample take?
Once the construction and artwork are agreed, a sample commonly arrives in about 8–10 days. Bulk timing is confirmed with the quote, with our general bulk figure being around ~18 days after approval.
