What To Know Before You Order.
Hem And Belt Clearance
Flag play depends on a clean pull. A long jersey can cover the flags and cause disputes, so we agree a finished length against the belt position on the sample. A shorter, curved hem can also be used.
Fabric And Durability
Players hit the ground often, so we use a hard-wearing polyester knit that resists snagging and abrasion. Weight and stretch are set from your spec. Mesh side panels can be added for warm climates.
Numbers And Names
Large sublimated numbers on the chest and back help referees and spectators. Keep contrast strong against the body colour, and avoid decorative numerals that are hard to read at a distance.
What To Provide
Send artwork, number lists, colour references and league rules about shorts and jerseys. Mistakes include ignoring the belt line and choosing shorts with built-in cord holes. A sample from our samples route lets you test with a real belt.
Common Questions.
Why do flag football shorts need to be pocket-free?
Flags are pulled from a belt at the hip, and pockets or loose cords can catch or block the pull. Many leagues specify rules about shorts, so check yours and send us the details.
Can jerseys be worn untucked?
Yes, though length matters. We cut the hem to finish above the flag line, or at a length you choose, and we can add side vents so fabric does not cover the belt.
Can you make reversible jerseys?
We can, in two colourways stitched as a double layer. Contact sports use a different build, so for tackle-style kit see our American football page.
Is the sizing suitable for children?
Yes. Youth sets are graded on their own measurements rather than shrunk from adult sizes. Check the size guide and send a spec.
What are the minimums?
Bulk requires 20 pieces per design, while samples need no minimum. Timing is about 8–10 days for samples and about ~18 days for bulk.
