Custom Varsity Jackets, Built Around Your Crest.
Bomber and varsity-style jackets with striped rib collars, contrast sleeves and a back piece or chest patch worked in embroidery or appliqué. The crest is the whole point of this garment, so we plan the jacket around it rather than adding it at the end.
What We Make.
Classic Varsity Jackets
Body in one colour, sleeves in another, with striped rib at collar, cuffs and hem and a snap or zip front.
Bomber-Style Jackets
Slimmer, shorter, zip-front shape with ribbed trims and a more fashion-led cut.
Satin-Finish Club Jackets
A smooth, shiny shell fabric for clubs, societies and promotional runs.
Patch & Appliqué Jackets
Embroidered patches and twill appliqué letters or numbers sewn onto the body and sleeves.
Quilt-Lined Varsity Jackets
Light padding and a printed or plain lining, set from your spec, for cooler seasons.
What To Know Before You Order.
Rib Trims & Colour Matching
Rib is knitted separately from the body fabric, so getting rib and shell to agree in colour takes care. We show you the colour pair on a swatch or sample and note it in the spec, because rib that looks right on paper can read darker once knitted. Tell us how many stripes and what order.
Body Fabric & Lining
The shell can be a woven nylon or polyester, a satin-finish cloth or a heavier brushed fabric, chosen for the look and the weather. A light quilt lining adds warmth but also bulk at the hem, so we confirm how it sits against the rib. Pocket style, inner pocket and snap or zip closure are all part of the written spec.
Crest, Patches & Lettering
Appliqué letters are cut from twill and stitched onto the body, which keeps them flat and bright. Embroidered patches can be made in advance and sewn on at the factory. Keep the crest away from the pocket line and the side seams, and give us the exact placement in centimetres; sleeve names and numbers should be placed against the sleeve seam, not eyeballed.
Making An Order
One sample is enough to start, with no minimum, and it takes about 8–10 days. Bulk of 20 pieces or more per design then needs around ~18 days after you approve it. For other outerwear, look at our jackets and hoodies, and see the private label page if you are launching your own brand.
Common Questions.
Is a varsity jacket the same as a bomber?
Mostly shape and trim. A varsity jacket usually has a boxier body, contrasting sleeves and wide striped rib, and often snap buttons. A bomber is closer-fitting with a zip front and plainer ribs. Both can carry the same patch and embroidery work, so tell us the silhouette you want.
Can you stitch a large crest on the back?
Yes. Large back embroidery is common, but a heavy fill can pull the fabric or stiffen the panel, so we advise on stitch density and backing during sampling. An appliqué patch is lighter on the cloth than a solid-stitch design of the same size.
Do you use leather or wool?
Our standard sample route is fabric bodies and fabric or knit sleeves, chosen by you from what we can source. If you want a particular material look, send a reference and we will tell you honestly whether we can match it before you pay for a sample.
Which sizes work for layering?
Varsity jackets are usually worn over a hoodie, so many brands grade one size larger than their hoodies. Our size guide gives the garment charts, and a reference jacket you own is the best starting point.
What are the minimums and the timeline?
Samples have no minimum, and a varsity jacket sample generally takes about 8–10 days once the crest artwork and trims are agreed. Bulk is 20 pieces per design at roughly ~18 days after approval.
