Netball Dresses, Skirts And Bibs For Australian Schools And Associations.
Netball is among the most widely played team sports for girls and women in Australia. It is played on Saturday mornings across school and association competitions, in winter and summer seasons, at levels from first-time juniors to long-standing social teams. A netball order has an unusual job: seven players need to look like one team, yet each one needs a clearly readable position. Our job is to produce a dress or skirt-and-top that moves well, plus bibs that referees and spectators can read from the sideline.

Schools, Associations And Social Teams.
School Teams
Primary and secondary schools field teams across year levels, usually in house or school colours. Kit is often handed on from year to year, so durable fabric and an easy reorder matter.
Association Competitions
Local associations run grades by age and standard, often with a winter season and a summer one. A club may register many teams in one design, with a few clash or alternate options.
Social And Mixed Sides
Workplace, community and mixed teams want kit that fits a wide range of bodies and looks good in photos, without the pressure of a formal club identity.
One-Piece Dress Or Skirt And Top?
Both are common. The right choice usually comes from how your players feel about the fit and what your competition permits.
The Dress
A single garment gives a clean team line and removes the question of a top riding up or a skirt waistband shifting during play. Because it is cut as one, we pay close attention to the waist seam and to the stretch across the shoulders when a player reaches up to shoot or intercept. A dress is also the easiest design on which to sublimate a flowing pattern from neckline to hem.
The Skirt And Top
Two pieces let a team mix sizes at the top and bottom, which many players appreciate. Teams often choose a skort or a skirt worn with shorts underneath. The top can be a sleeveless, short-sleeve or long-sleeve style, so cooler mornings are less of a problem for juniors. Each piece is a separate design when it comes to the 20-piece minimum.
The Seven Positions, Readable From The Sideline.
Netball positions restrict where on the court a player may go, so a clear letter on the bib is how umpires and spectators follow the game. Most competitions use the standard abbreviations, and the bib is usually worn over the dress or top. We print the letters large and in strong contrast to the bib colour, front and back.
Many clubs buy a full set of bibs per team and keep spares, since positions are swapped between quarters and bibs get lost. We suggest ordering a few spare sets and labelling them by team, so bibs do not drift between age groups.
Check your competition for rules on bib colour, letter size and whether the bib must be attached to the garment. We cannot guarantee that a competition will accept a certain layout, so please send the handbook clause with your artwork and we will match it on the sample.

Stretch With Recovery
A stretch knit follows a shooter's reach and a defender's stretch, and bounces back to shape after repeated washing. We agree the fabric weight on the sample.
Length And Cover
Hem length, shorts underneath and sleeve options are all choices. Some players, schools and communities prefer more coverage, so we sample the options before the full run.
A Wide Size Run
Teams span small junior sizes through adult and larger sizes. Fit across the size run is checked on the sample, not guessed. See the sizing and grading guide.

Planning For Winter And Summer Competitions.
Many associations run a winter and a summer season, so a club may order twice a year or reuse one design for both. If a team wants a lighter summer dress and a warmer long-sleeve winter top, tell us early and we will quote the pair together. Sampling takes about 8–10 days and bulk about ~18 days after approvals, with freight and customs on top, so a committee that starts a few months before registration day is much less stressed than one that starts a few weeks before.
Your order gets a private tracking page with photos, a working-day countdown and approvals before cutting. See how it works. Football-netball clubs can also look at our guernsey page, and a sample is the cheapest way to start: order one here.
Every batch is checked against our quality control steps before packing, and a club-owned design can be developed under private label.
Common Questions.
Can you make bibs as well as the dress or skirt?
Yes. Position bibs can be made in your team colours or in a contrasting colour, with the position letters on the front and the back. They are designed alongside the dress so that the two sit together properly on the court.
Our association has uniform rules. Do you follow them?
Rules differ between associations and between school and club competitions, and we cannot read them for you. Send us the relevant clause or handbook with your design, and we will adjust the length, colour or layout on the sample to suit.
Do you offer a dress and a skirt-and-top option in one order?
Yes. Because each is a different design, each has its own 20-piece bulk minimum counted per design, not per size. A team that wants both styles will usually order them as two lines on the same quote.
Can school netball teams order in many year-level sizes?
Yes. A school can mix a wide range of sizes in one design. The 20-piece bulk minimum applies to the design, not to each size.
What are the duty and tax arrangements?
We quote prices with shipping included, and the courier is chosen by True Fit. Customs duties, GST and local taxes are separate and depend on value and category, so check current Australian Border Force and ATO rules for your shipment.
How do you take payment?
By bank transfer or Wise transfer. We do not take card payments. You can check our business verification before you pay.
