Basketball Uniforms For US Programs, Reversible As Standard.
School league and club-circuit basketball run on two different calendars in the US, and both usually need a jersey that can legally cover a light and a dark game from one garment. We sublimate that reversible construction in-house, with a 20-piece bulk minimum and zero MOQ on samples.
Two Calendars, One Jersey Rule.
| School League (NFHS) | Club / AAU Circuit | |
|---|---|---|
| Season | Runs as a winter sport under National Federation of State High School Associations rules, generally November through March. | AAU basketball runs its own age-graded divisions (7U through 14U and up) largely through spring and summer, on top of the school season. |
| Jersey Requirement | AAU Boys' Basketball plays under NFHS rules, and both generally require a team to field a light and a dark jersey — either as two separate sets or a single reversible jersey. We produce the reversible version as standard so one garment covers both. | |
| Numbering | NFHS rules restrict legal jersey numbers to combinations of the digits 0 through 5 — not 6, 7, 8 or 9 — so officials can signal fouls and violations with raised fingers. We build this into the numbering layout before sublimation, not after. | |
One Garment, No Visible Seam.
Full sublimation is what makes a clean reversible jersey possible — it's a dye process rather than a printed patch, so both faces of the garment carry graphics with the same quality instead of one side being a plainer backup colorway. Numbering is sublimated in rather than heat-pressed, so it doesn't peel or crack after repeated washing across a season that, for a club team, can run nearly year-round.
Common Questions.
Do you supply reversible jerseys, or only single-color sets?
Reversible is our standard build for basketball, since most school and club leagues require a light and dark option anyway — but a single-color set is available too if your league or budget calls for it.
Can you keep our jersey numbers within NFHS rules?
Yes — we lay out numbering using only 0–5 digit combinations by default for programs that play under NFHS or AAU rules, so there's no rejected number to fix after the fact.
We play both a school season and a club season — can one order cover both?
Often, yes. Since the reversible jersey already carries both a light and dark side, many programs use the same set across their NFHS winter season and their spring/summer club circuit.
What's the minimum order?
Zero MOQ on samples, so you can confirm fit and colorway first. Bulk orders start at 20 pieces per design — enough for most rosters. Full spec detail is on our basketball category page.
