US school programs and club teams buy different sets for the same sport, and almost every roster needs one jersey that looks different from the rest. Four Garments, Counted In A Different Way.
The minimum applies per design, so a team that counts garments by player can be surprised at quote stage. Here is how a typical volleyball roster breaks down.
The Main Jersey
Sleeveless, short-sleeve or long-sleeve, in the team colours. One design covers every non-libero player, with a different number and size for each. Choose the sleeve with your gym temperature in mind.
The Libero Jersey
A second colourway, so the libero can be told apart on court. It is a separate design. Teams with one libero often take it as a sample, since the sample has no minimum.
Fitted Shorts
A stretch fabric with a snug fit and a clean hem. Coverage, rise and length are personal and sometimes set by a school or club policy, so sample more than one size before a full run.

Ordering Around Two Calendars.
In many US states school volleyball runs in the autumn, while club volleyball often runs through winter and into spring. Programs that play both sometimes buy a school set and a separate club set, because the rules, colours and sponsors differ. Dates and formats vary by state and organisation, so confirm yours before you plan.
Working backwards, your own approval days, the sample step of about 8–10 days and bulk of about ~18 days, plus shipping, all need to fit before tryouts finish. Teams that wait for the final roster before ordering are often tight on time, so a common approach is to approve the design early and finalise sizes later.

Common Questions.
Can you make a libero jersey in a contrasting colour?
Yes. A libero jersey is a separate design in a contrasting colourway, so it has its own line on the quote and its own 20-piece bulk minimum. If you need only one or two, order them as samples, which have no minimum. Check your rule set for how the libero must be distinguished.
Do you make the fitted shorts to match the jersey?
Yes. Fitted shorts are usually a separate, stretch-fabric design in the team colour. Because fit and coverage are personal and sometimes a school or club policy, we recommend sampling the shorts in two or three sizes and asking the team to try them.
Can the jersey carry a number on the front and the back?
Yes. We can place numbers where your rule set requires. Rules differ by organisation, so send the clause with your artwork and we will match it on the sample.
Can one design cover a whole club with many age groups?
Yes. The 20-piece bulk minimum is per design, not per size or per team, so one club design can cover several age-group teams, with sizes and numbers set on a combined roster sheet.
What about customs and import checks?
Check your local import requirements. We prepare the commercial invoice and packing list, and quote shipping per order with tracking provided.
